Gaggia Classic - no coffee coming out

Question
Good Morning
This morning my coffee maker stopped delivering coffee - the pump is not making the usual noise, so that combined with the fact that the machine is over 10 years old makes me think that the pump has gone.
the issue has been building for a few days, so at the weekend I descaled the machine and cleaned the metal water 'shower head'
Does this sound like the pump to you? Im reasonably technical is this something I can fix myself?

Hi,
It is very rare for the pump to go wrong but it can. However having a blockage in the solenoid valve is more common. Take the boiler and the solenoid valve fully apart and clean them.
This should solve the issue.
