Gaggia Syncrony Compact Digital - Ventilate appears and pump stops when steaming milk?

Question
My compact digital seems to operate fine until I try steaming milk. I allow the unit to produce steam, turn steam off then start the milk steaming process. The unit starts to steam the milk then within 30 seconds the pump seems to stop and 'Ventilate' appears. I try to ventilate and the pump does not seem active and water may trickle out of the wand. I try again to ventilate without success. I usually have try may times before hot water appears on display and water trickles out of the wand. I run an espresso shot and water with steam comes out. I then flush water through wand as pump now works. Then I can run an espresso shot normally. Ideas? It happens every time I try and steam milk.

Some versions of the Syncrony Compact Digital and the Titanium models regulate the pump (according to the temperature) to be working at a much lower frequency when cooling the steam boiler down, and this can cause the "Ventilate" message to appear every time you use the machine for steaming and then try to cool the boiler down. This particular case seems to be a different, because the problem already turns up at the steaming phase, so I presume that the power board might be faulty and can not turn the heating of the steam boiler off completely, so the boiler overheats and causes the described problem. I would recommend to send the machine in for a free inspection to find the exact cause of the symptom.
