Gaggia Baby Twin - dripping when portafilter removed

Question
Our baby twin has started dripping when a cup of coffee has been made and the portafilter has been removed. It drips from the shower head. Eventually it stops, but goes on for about a minute before stopping.There is also a gurgling from inside the machine after it has been turned off.
Expert Answer
Presumably the solenoid valve is at fault. It most likely can't properly close the bore of the brew head off from the boiler. It can either be caused by some kind of residue or a worn solenoid valve. This symptom can also be strengthened by a machine that is overheating for some reason. I would recommend to carry out a full service on the machine.
