Question
Problem started when I use ent for ground coffee and then revert to normal use with beans. Wet grinds everywhere over brew unit in container and drip tray and makes terrible grinding noise. Please advise how to unscrew superior filter. I am using the supplied screw but it just turns around. Also where to grease the newer unit with silicone grease - can I use 3in1 multi purpose oil? Thanks

There is a high chance of the gearbox being damaged, if the problem occurred after using the machine in pre-ground mode. Usually people put too much coffee into the funnel and overexert the gearbox operating the brew unit, and as a result it gives off a grinding noise. If you wish to remove the shower disc from the brew unit, you need to unscrew the plastic bolt/sower disc support on top with the factory T key or with a 5mm Allen key. If it does not do anything, then the support is most likely broken and you should be able tu pull it out.
